This Privacy Policy describes how Rooted Haircare LLC ("the Company," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, and discloses your personal information when you use the Haircare Tracker by Rooted mobile application ("the App").
1. INFORMATION COLLECTION AND USE
We collect and use basic information to provide our services and improve the App. This includes, but is not limited to:
Onboarding Data: Basic demographic information such as age and gender.
Optional Data: You may choose to provide us with additional data, including but not limited to hair photos. These will be used specifically to provide the services they are related to, such as visual tracking and hair health analytics.
2. DATA SHARING & DISCLOSURE
No Sale of Data: We do not sell your personal data or your photos to any third parties for monetary consideration.
Service Providers: We share data only with trusted third-party providers who are legally bound to protect your information and use it only to help us operate and provide the App's services.
Legal Compliance: We may disclose information if required by law or in response to a valid request by public authorities (e.g., a court or government agency).
3. DATA RETENTION & DELETION
Retention: We keep your data only as long as your account is active and necessary to provide you with our services.
Your Right to Delete: You may request the deletion of your account and all associated data (including photos) directly within the App settings or by emailing us at info@rootedhaircare.app. Once deleted, your hair photos and profile data are permanently removed from our servers and cannot be recovered.
4. CHILDREN’S PRIVACY
Our App is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
5. AMENDMENTS
We reserve the right to update this Privacy Policy at any time to reflect changes in our services, policy, or legal requirements. Continued use of the App after updates constitutes your acceptance of the new policy.
